Jill Malouf's new geode series is inspired by a passion of collecting gemstones and minerals with her jewelry designer husband. This time intensive, layering process creates depth and translucence. Jill blends her own mediums to create a unique texture and crystal-like effect and iridescent and metallic paints (“soothing pastel tones”) that appear to change colors in different lighting. She mixes her own mediums to amp up the texture and create a crystal-like effect.

All of the geode series can be hung horizontally or vertically. Metal floater frame.
